What if the pendulum answer is unclear when dowsing? (VIDEO)Written by Jean Slatter

Often when dowsing with a pendulum we get answers that are ambiguous or unclear. The pendulum may move in circles, not at all, or in erratic ways. We think that answers should be yes or no, but often this is not the case. In this video I discuss why the pendulum sometimes gives ambiguous answers, and how you should work with those answers.

I’ve always started dowsing by asking the pendulum to show me how it moves for each answer, ‘yes’ and ‘no’. So far it has always been in a circle for ‘yes’ (the larger the circle the more emphatic)and a straight line for ‘no’.
I can see that this doesn’t give an opportunity for an ambiguous answer, which is a useful option.
Do you think it would be better to find a way of switching the ‘yes’ response to a straight line perpendicular to the ‘no’, or to ask what the ‘ambiguous’ response is? I can only think that would be either perpendicular to ‘no’ or no movement.
If the best plan is to try to switch the ‘yes’ answer, do you have any advice as to how to do that? I’ve noticed that I can deliberately get it to go any way I want(without consciously making micro-movements to get it started)and I don’t want my ego or conscious mind to get in the way.
Hi Jean,
I’ve been dowsing with a pendulum for decades and from the beginning when I asked my pendulum to show me my Yes, it went in a clockwise circle. When I asked what is my No in reversed and circled counter clockwise. My “circling” pendulum has worked for me ever since.
I wanted to share this with you as there may be others who also have circling as a definitive answer.
Sincerely,
Nancy Rose
