What is a Creative Mystic?

The times we live in call for a new kind of mystic, a Creative Mystic. A Creative Mystic has a foot in both worlds: the physical world of laundry and picking up the kids from soccer plus the spiritual world of synchronicity and magical creation.

The word "mystic" may conjure up a picture of an eccentric, gray-haired hermit, who lives on a mountain top, watching the clouds and deeply contemplating the meaning of life. However, most of us have no such luxury and may not even consider such an existence attractive.

Most of us have heard the idea, "We are spiritual beings having a human experience." We have zealously taken up the challenge of understanding what it means to be "spiritual" by exploring all manner of metaphysics for the elusive goal of enlightenment. It seems to make sense: if I want to be more spiritual, I have to study more about spirituality. In fact, it's just the opposite. It's time to look at things differently.

Our primary job as spiritual beings is to fully inhabit and embrace our human experience-to live it, explore it, and love it. The enlightenment we seek is already ours. Once we have the tools to access this innate wisdom we can bring our spirituality into human form where it can be used in daily life, practically and purposefully. This is the journey of a Creative Mystic.

The fact that you have been drawn to the Creative Mystic program means that your personal initiation has already begun. We all have an innate longing to know ourselves. It may surface at unexpected times where we suddenly find ourselves suspended from our day-to-day, busy reality in a few moments of pure awareness. We might find ourselves in this other dimension asking the question, "What is my purpose?" It may come during a time of pain or sorrow when we seek deeper clarity by asking, "What is the meaning of this?"

The very fact that we ask the question reveals our belief that there must be an answer. This is the awakening of the Creative Mystic that lives inside of us. These big questions initiate the quest of the mystic and we find ourselves on a path of exploration and discovery. You've been led here to learn practical ways of finding the answers you seek.
